Who this is

This site is operated by LaMarr Labs Inc., a Delaware corporation with a registered office at 251 Little Falls Drive, Wilmington, Delaware 19808, United States. The firm operates from Mexico. For anything on this page, including a request to delete your information, write to addie@lamarrlabs.com.

What is collected

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into one of two forms and submit.

The briefing request form

• Your name and email address
• Your job title and organization
• Approximate organization size
• What is driving the inquiry, your timeline, and any context you choose to write

The speaking inquiry form

• Your name and email address
• Your organization and the event
• Budget range, travel and lodging arrangements, and any details you choose to write

Beyond the forms, the hosting providers that serve these pages record standard server request data, which includes IP addresses and browser user-agent strings, as any web server does. That data is used to operate and secure the sites, and LaMarr Labs does not build profiles from it.

What is not collected

• No cookies are set by this site. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.
• No analytics, tracking pixels, or session recording. Page views are not measured against individual visitors.
• No advertising, and no advertising networks.
• No purchased or enriched contact data. Nothing is appended to what you submit from an outside source.
• No special category data is requested. Please do not send health, biometric, or similar information through these forms.

Your information is never sold

LaMarr Labs does not sell personal information, and does not share it for advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. There is no arrangement under which your information is exchanged for money or for anything else of value, and there never has been.

Why it is collected, and on what basis

Form submissions are used for one purpose: to respond to you and, if there is a fit, to take the steps that precede a possible engagement or speaking booking. Your information is not added to a marketing list, and submitting a form does not subscribe you to anything.

For readers in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the lawful bases relied on are your consent in submitting the form, taking steps at your request prior to entering a contract, and the legitimate interest of responding to a business inquiry that you initiated.

Who else processes it

A small number of service providers handle this information in order to run the site. They act on LaMarr Labs instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

• Airtable stores form submissions so inquiries can be tracked and answered.
• Vercel hosts this site and serves its pages.
• Google Cloud Run serves the resources hub at /resources.

Information is also disclosed where the law requires it, which has not happened to date.

Where it is stored, and where it is read

These are two different places, and both are stated here rather than only the first.

Stored in the United States. The systems holding what you submit are United States systems. Airtable stores form submissions, Vercel serves this site, and Google Cloud Run serves the resources hub.

Read from Mexico. LaMarr Labs Inc. is a Delaware corporation, but it operates from Mexico. Inquiries are read and answered by firm personnel located in Mexico. Your information is therefore stored in the United States and accessed from Mexico.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, submitting a form sends your information to the United States and to Mexico. The European Commission recognizes the United States only for organizations that participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and it has issued no adequacy decision for Mexico. If that matters to your organization, write to addie@lamarrlabs.com before submitting the form and it can be handled another way.

Data residency for client engagement data is a separate matter, set per engagement in the governing contract rather than by this page.

How long it is kept

Inquiries are kept while they remain relevant to a possible or actual engagement, and business records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as legal, tax, and professional obligations require. An inquiry that goes nowhere is deleted on request, and you do not need to give a reason.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the information held about you, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy of it, to object to or restrict its processing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these.

To exercise any of them, email addie@lamarrlabs.com. Requests are answered within 30 days. Because no data is sold or shared for advertising, there is no opt-out mechanism to operate and nothing to withdraw beyond asking for deletion.

If you are in Mexico, you may exercise ARCO rights, meaning access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition, at the same address.

Readers in the EEA or the UK may also complain to their local supervisory authority.

Security

Form submissions travel over HTTPS and are stored in access-controlled systems. If you believe you have found a security issue in this site or either of its companion sites, the vulnerability disclosure policy explains how to report it.

Children

This is a business site aimed at security and executive leadership. It is not directed at children, and information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes to how information is handled will be described here rather than made quietly.
